JGHS Athletic Complex Increment 3

INTRODUCTION
Central Unified School District is inviting suppliers and subcontractors to submit bid proposals for  Justin Garza High School  – Athletic Complex Increment No. 3. The project is located at the 4100 N. Grantland Avenue, Fresno, CA.  93723.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This project consists of construction of a new athletic complex for the Central Unified School District. Increment 3 includes flat work , 1 Ticket Booth Building Y, 1 Concessions Building X, Fustsal Fields, 5 row bleachers and associated site improvements.

This is a Multiple Prime contract bid to Central Unified School District, MWC is the Construction Manager. Plans, specs, and all Addenda must be reviewed and incorporated into each bid. The following are the bid packages associated with this project:

JG3-1 EARTHWORK:  C-12 or A License Requirement

JG3-2 CONCRETE:  A, C-8, B License Requirement

JG3-3 MASONRY:  C-29 License Requirement

JG3-4 STEEL:  C-51 License Requirement

JG3-5 ROOFING/WATERPROOFING:  C-39 License Requirement

JG3-6 PAINTING:  C-33 License Requirement

JG3-7 GENERAL SPECIALTIES:  B License Requirement

JG3-8 PLUMBING & SITE UTILITIES:  C-36 License Requirement

JG3-9 MECHANICAL:  C-20 License Requirement

JG3-10 ELECTRICAL:  C-10 License Requirement

All bids need to include the proper bid docs as called out in the Notice to Contractors & Instructions to Bidders.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Job Meetings:

Bidders for the following bid packages must attend at least one pre-bid conference in order to be eligible to submit a bid: JG3-1 Earthwork, JG3-2 Concrete, JG3-7 General Specialties, JG3-8 Plumbing & Site Utilities, and JG3-10 Electrical.   The pre-bid conferences are optional for all other bid packages.

First Meeting:

Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at Deran Koligian Stadium, Parking Lot, 4200 N. Grantland Ave., Fresno, California 93723. 

Second Meeting:

Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at Deran Koligian Stadium, Parking Lot, 4200 N. Grantland Ave., Fresno, California 93723. 

This Contract is subject to project-specific prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6. If a bidder is not prequalified for this Project to bid on the Contract, Owner will not accept the bid.  Any subcontractors the bidder lists for work requiring C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, or C-46 licenses must have current pre-qualified status with the Owner for this Project.  Contractors not currently prequalified by the Owner for this Project must submit the prequalification application to the Owner by the date specified in the application.  Bidders may obtain the Project-specific prequalification application from the Owner.  The Owner’s approved contractor prequalification list for this Project will be posted on the Facilities Planning webpage.  All prequalification packets must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m., Friday February 28, 2025. Only bidders who have been prequalified on or before Friday, March 7, 2025, will be eligible to bid this project.
