Canyon Creek Elementary School

INTRODUCTION
Golden Valley Unified School District is inviting suppliers and subcontractors to submit bid proposals for the New Canyon Creek Elementary School. The project is located on the future corner of Monterey Boulevard South and Cardinal Boulevard West, Madera, CA.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This project consists of the construction of a new school campus consisting of (8) new buildings:  a new Administration/Library Building, Multi-Purpose Building, Transitional Kinder Building, Kinder Building, (3) Classroom Buildings and Concessions, as well as associated sitework on an approximately 15.6 acre site.  All buildings will be of wood framing with plywood deck and concrete slab-on-grade foundations. Offsite improvement work includes but is not limited to paving, wet and dry utilities, and landscaping and irrigation to be reviewed and approved by the City of Madera.

This is a Multiple Prime contract bid to Golden Valley Unified School District, MWC is the Construction Manager. Plans, specs, and all Addenda must be reviewed and incorporated into each bid. The following are the bid packages associated with this project:

Mandatory Pre Bid Meeting:  To be eligible to bid this project, the following bid packages must attend one of the following pre bid meetings:  CCE-01 Earthwork & Paving, CCE-02 Site Utilities, CCE-11 General Specialties, and CCE-15 Electrical & Site Electrical

First meeting:   Wednesday, December 18th, at 10:00 am at the corner of Avenue 10 & Monterey Blvd, ½ mile West of Lanes Bridge Road, Madera, CA. 

Second meeting:  Friday, December 20th, at 10:00 am at the corner of Avenue 10 & Monterey Blvd, ½ mile West of Lanes Bridge Road, Madera, CA.
